The Government have issued the full list of HRT medications that will be included in the new HRT pre-payment prescription scheme. Coming into effect on 1 April 2023 women in England will be able to purchase a pre-paid certificate which will provide them with their HRT for a full year for one payment of £19.30 (this was originally communicated as £18.70 but on 9 March 2023 the government announced a price increase for all pre-paid prescriptions including the new HRT certificate).

Anybody currently receiving HRT (hormone replacement therapy) that is licensed on a NHS prescription living in England will be able to apply for the new HRT PPC (pre-payment prescription scheme) from 1 April 2023.
